Post Alley Blend - This is a smoky and intense French roast with a wonderfully smooth side. Best enjoyed by pausing for a moment to allow the aromas to stir your senses before taking the first sip.
Seattle's Best Coffee has a new look but the same premium beans, specially roasted for a smooth taste Signature Blend No. 5 is now Post Alley Blend Post Alley Blend is our most intense dark roast coffee with smoky flavor Our recommendation for a great cup of Seattle's Best Coffee is 1 tbsp (5 g) of ground coffee for every 6 fl. oz. (180 mL) of water For finest taste, use cold, filtered water and store ground coffee in a cool, dark place Customer Reviews

Our Go-To
Several years ago my wife innocently said, "I wonder why we can never get coffee to taste as good at home as it does in some places?" That led me on a year-long quest (obsession) to brew the best cup of coffee possible. After all, coffee is 95% water... how hard could it be. I read everything, bought books, watched documentaries and youtube videos, bought equipment, and visited every coffee shop and roaster in a 100 mile radius. By the end of the year I was ordering green coffee beans online and doing my own roasting, and doing chemical adjustments on the water I was using; paying detailed attention to the grind, measuring it to the tenth of a gram according to the golden cup standard, and focusing on water temperature. I realized that if it was possible to brew the best cup of coffee in the world and drink it every day... it wouldn't be the best cup of coffee anymore. Part of the allure is that it's NOT an every day routine.
So I took all of that knowledge and experience I had learned and adjusted our morning coffee routine so that we can drink "very good" coffee every morning - to where we prefer our coffee to most others, and yet I'm not spending an hour and a bunch of unnecessary money on each and every cup. After trying many brands and styles we landed on Post Alley and have used it exclusively now for probably 2 years or more.
Obviously, taste is a subjective thing. For us, this is our number 1 choice.Cram

I've never met anyone who drinks Seattle's Best coffee. We like the darker roasts, and like strong coffee, but still, Seattle's Best is the most full-bodied, deeply flavored coffee I've ever had that didn't have a strong bitterness factor. It's even less expensive than other premium coffees.Jay
